Lately, I’m not quite the athlete I used to be. Long gone are the organized running or rowing practices that seemed to slide seamlessly into my day. I know exactly when the pools near my house open for lap swimming and when the yoga studio mats get unfurled. But come evening, I’m just too spent to bother.
I thought I had mastered this work-life balance thing. I kept strict office hours: 9-5, Monday to Friday. Weekends were mine. But, to be honest, it’s not working. On Monday, I tried something new: I went running at 10:30 AM. Gasp! My freelance business did not come crashing down around me.
Those of us who labor away at home often struggle to keep work from bleeding into life–and to remain productive and happy. We want to know what works (and what doesn’t) and how you’re going to make things better next year.
Click here to take the survey. It will only take a few minutes and your answers will remain anonymous. We’ll collect responses until October 9.

Are you only interested in freelancers’ responses? We staffers also have such issues.
We really want to hear from staffers too.
