After six years as an independent website, Pitch Publish Prosper is joining forces with the National Association of Science Writers (NASW) and moving our most popular blog posts to NASW’s new website in early 2019. The other posts in our blog archive will no longer be available online after this move.
Our most recent efforts on The Science Writers’ Handbook project have been focused on eBooks. As a result, we’ve decided to streamline and strengthen our web presence. If you’ve directed your site to pitchpublishprosper.com, we will be keeping that domain name and will redirect it to our new pages at NASW after the migration is complete.
With this move, we’re returning to our roots. The Science Writers’ Handbook and its spinoff titles, The Science Writers’ Essay Handbook and The Science Writers’ Investigative Reporting Handbook were all supported by Peggy Girshman Idea Grants from NASW. This partnership will ensure that our best content and book projects remain important resources for new and veteran science writers alike.
But this move is also bittersweet because we recognize that we can’t take all our content with us on this journey. We’ve selected our 20 most popular posts to move to NASW. However, more than 200 posts from our archive will no longer be available after this transition is complete.
So, readers, we want to let you know our plans. If there’s a post on our current site that you’d like to archive for your personal use, we encourage you to do that before the end of 2018. Thank you for six wonderful years of pitching, publishing and prospering. We hope that you’ll visit us soon at pitchpublishprosper.com hosted by NASW.org.
